COURSE INFORMATION
The fleet will be sailing across the Baltic, and then east down the Gulf of Finland to St Petersburg in late June.
That means they are entitled to hope for clear skies and warm sunshine for the finale. But my experience of this part of the world at that time of year is that sunshine brings light air, and it will be a slow final leg. The alternative is usually that it is blowing dogs off chains and raining. But maybe I’ve just had some bad experiences.
